 Surgical Suite is Open
Our long-awaited surgical suite is now open! We are doing spays and neuters on-site, with the help of our veterinarian and staff. We are also currently developing a plan to help local veterinarians learn how to work on ferrets. Very exciting stuff!

Shelter Overhaul Day has Been Cancelled
Shelter Overhaul Day has been cancelled due to a ferret-related emergency. It will be rescheduled soon. Check back later for more details.
Shelter Overhaul Day
August 23rd is being designated Shelter Overhaul Day. It is time to steam clean all the cages and scrub down the shelter. If time allows, the walls also need a new coat of paint to brighten things up a bit. Many willing bodies are needed for this event. Please call to sign up so lunch can be planned (phone number is (503) 557-8369). We will start at 10 a.m. and run throughout the day.
